Financial Management Solutions Ethics-less “I had a doctor's bill(Service day May 2015) which was partially paid. The doctor's office somehow lost my address and could not send bill to me.Yesterday they called me, took my updated address and I agreed to pay the bill as soon as i get their bill in mail. All was settled.\n \nToday I received a call from this number (301 220 1849) while i was in a office meeting. The guy started yelling at me from beginning being super rude. He did not ask me if it is a good time to talk to or what is the status of the bill he is talking about. I told him about my conversation with doctors office and all updates. But he was not ready to hear anything. He almost gave me a trauma by his commands, threats....He was speaking as if I am his slave..\n\nThat guy started commanding me, threatening me in rudest possible way. I told that i already had a conversation with your office regarding the bill but he was not ready to hear anything ..he finally hang up the phone when i told that i am going to sue them and take to court for giving me mental trauma like this...They just told me about outstanding bill and cannot expect to pay in a minute .....\n\nThat guy was threatening me that I have to pay it right away or else he would put those on my credit today .....This is insane...I called doctor's office. They apologized and said that they sent my bill to this collector office by mistake. But what about ethics of this agency ?? How come they give somebody threat like this even without checking billing date, service date etc.? How come they give somebody a heart attack or trauma ?? is it legal to act on a bill like this which is less than 3 months old ?? i hope, no body else goes through this pathetic experience for no fault of his end !! ”
